Our Story

​HCMI (Human Capital Management Institute) is a workforce analytics software and services firm that provides organizations with actionable intelligence, powerful software, and deep analytics expertise to deliver better business results by building a more productive workforce and maximizing the return on its Human Capital investments.

HCMI was founded on the belief that organizations must find better ways of measuring human capital investments.  HCMI’s goal is to fundamentally change the way organizations make decisions about their workforce, and strive towards a future in which human capital measurement and information are as integral to business decision-making as financial information is today.

HCMI strives to set global standards in workforce analytics, workforce planning, workforce metrics and benchmarking, performance management and HR data and transaction classification. We lead and educate organizations on what to measure, what it means, how it fits, and how to improve it. We believe it is only through rigorous standards, continuous data tracking, trending and analysis that true workforce business intelligence can be achieved.

Jeff is a global thought leader with over 25 years combined workforce planning, analytics and finance experience supporting Fortune™ 500 companies. Jeff has helped organizations around the world quantify the ROI of workforce decisions and realize cost saving opportunities of up to $1.0 billion USD. Jeff is both a former senior HR executive and former CFO, and a regular speaker at HR events. Previously, Mr. Higgins worked in finance at Johnson & Johnson, Colgate Palmolive, Klune Industries and a senior HR leader at Countrywide Financial, IndyMac Bank, and Inform, a leading analytics software co. Jeff is on the SHRM Global Standards Committee on human capital, the Center for Talent Reporting board and founding member, PwC Saratoga Institute advisory council.

Anuar has more than 35 years of experience in the Telecommunications, Oil & Gas and Automotive industries covering a range of roles from Marketing and Sales to logistics and Planning, Transformation as well as HR. He has held many management positions at the C-Suite level in companies as well as preferred advisor and coach in his consulting capacity. Anuar’s exposure to different work cultures and business roles whilst on cross posting stints in the UK and Australia, as well as here in, Malaysia, coupled with his experience as both HR practitioner and Consultant has enabled him to give both Business and HR advise to clients that is practical and implementable.
